CuervoGames was a legendary live-action and music festival touring the country in 2010 and 2011. Think Wipeout meets American Gladiators meets Warped Tour meets Spring Break. With a direct feed into the hosts’ ears, I called out funny “ish” on the fly and coached them through the hour-long finals. I covered the event in Champaign, West Palm Beach, Austin, Dallas, Scottsdale, and Tampa. The event was live streamed to Justin.TV (now Twitch) where fans could interact via Boo and Cheer buttons from home.
Maxim loved the idea so much they joined on as a co-sponsor, bringing a “Hometown Hottie” contest to each city, judged by high-profile celebs, athletes, and entertainers.
